This ½ day workshop is designed to prepare companies participating in Community Business’ Fair Opportunity Inclusive Recruitment Event on Saturday 31 December 2015. However it also is open to all companies committed to hiring disabled talent. Participants will have the opportunity to hear expert advice and share experiences with other companies on how to make the recruitment process more inclusive for disabled talent.

HR and diversity professionals and those responsible for hiring, recruiting and developing diverse talent – particularly candidates with disabilities, in Hong Kong.

Welcome and Introduction


How to Position Your Company as an Inclusive Employer

Opening presentation by Community Business that explains the concept of an ‘inclusive brand’, why it is important and steps companies can take. Recommendations based on own research as well as reference to good practice examples.


Ensuring an Inclusive Approach in Recruitment
Corporate Experience Sharing – Panel Discussion

Companies will share the steps they take to ensure an inclusive recruitment process for candidates with disabilities - from interview and selection, to onboarding and development. This session will include a particular focus on disability employee networks and the important role they can play in providing and promoting a supportive and inclusive culture.


Refreshment Break


Practicing Inclusive Recruitment – Interactive Case Study

Through interactive exercise, participants will work together in groups to address concerns and questions which may occur during the interview process with candidates with disabilities.
